Salem County’s history, and the evidence of it that is all around us, is one of its greatest assets and a source of pride for us all. As a member of SCHS, you will receive free admission to our museum with it’s many exhibits, always something new to see, and our research library, with its abundance of primary sources directly related to the long and rich history of Salem County.
Additionally, the Society offers a wide variety of programming and services that are unduplicated regionally. These programs are presented at the Society and at locations around the county and are designed to reach and serve a wide range of audiences. This includes guided tours, school lessons on site, outreach programs, the annual Open House in Fenwick’s Colony and Quarterly Meetings.
