The Salem County Historical Society in Salem, NJ is seeking an intern(s) in the fields of History, Art History and Art Conservation to assist collections staff on a museum inventory project.
Interns will learn how to inventory and catalog items in the Society’s collection. The inventory process will teach interns to photograph objects, label objects and properly house objects.
Interns will also become familiar with Past Perfect collections management database. If you are already familiar with these processes, don’t hesitate to apply. Interns will be working hands-on with a multitude of objects from Native American artifacts, to 17th century glass to furniture to 19th century weaponry. The experience will boost your resume!
